Some websites I recommend for the body obsessed..

Länkarna är fixade, jag är inte speciellt duktig på att pilla med sånt här :P

http://www.bodyrecomposition.com

This blog is about body-recompositioning(changing the proportions of muscle to fat-ratio). Lyle McDonald is a exercise physiologist but is mostly known for his books and articles covering nutrition(especially about becoming leaner and why it's a fucking pain in the ass to become leaner if you're not genetically predisposed for it). Here's articles covering nutrition, the latest science relevant for bodybuilders, diets, training, stubborn body fat etc.

Highly recommended, he also has a support forum(actually he has two, the one linked to on his site is the recommended one...he also has a "mean" forum which is not for people who don't like to get insulted, pretty funny though).

http://www.traningslara.se
The best blog for all the swedes out there(I'm swedish btw), it is pretty much like the site mentioned above except without the curse words. It won't help you at all if you don't understand swedish though. There's a little more focus on the health-side of things but there are lots of articles on training, nutrition and science as well.

www.mindmuscle.net
I especially like this one because of the articles on mental attitude(an essential part of bodybuilding, dieting or whatever) towards dieting and such. They also have articles about nutrition, training, hormones(not just the one you can inject but also the ones you produce in your body naturally) and so forth.

http://www.ergo-log.com/
A little blog about the latest science related to body-recomposition and health. A little random though but there are little bits and pieces of useful information here as well(if you look around to the right there are actually categories to look through).

http://robertsontrainingsystems.com/podcast/
I haven't listened to his podcasts allot but it seems good, I especially like the interview with training-guru Alan Aragon(trainer of the LA Lakers amongst other things).

http://www.sphour.com/
Awesome podcast about strength and conditioning, interviewing famous(well at least in this sub-genre) scientists, trainers among others. I kinda like the banter between the hosts of the show, can be a little funny(or annoying if you're that type of person..) sometimes.

Martin Berkhan is known for his version of
Intermittent Fasting(IF)(16h fast, 8 hours eating), this site covers stuff about that. Since I switched to IF earlier this year dieting has been an ease(at least easier, I've tried ALLOT of diets and eating-ways and this is the only one that I can follow in the long-term and get ripped on) compared to the traditional bodybuilding-diet, eating every 2-3 hours and eating annoyingly small meals. Since I'm an ex-fattie IF allows me to eat bigger meals and do it in the evening(this is how people usually do, you can do the opposite time-frame as well but most people don't prefer doing it that way).

Martin was fat as a kid(just look how fucking ripped he is now, a natty of course) so he is a true inspiration for me body fat-wise.

IF is certainly not for everyone, and if your way of dieting works for you then there's not really allot of reasons to change that in my humble opinion. If you, like me, hate those fucking small bites of food you eat every 2-3 hours and prefer bigger meals and not bringing food everywhere then you should check this out.

The hunger you feel when switching from a traditional diet usually goes away in days(this is due to a hormone called Ghrelin that gets excreted at times you usually eat, the Ghrelin-circadian rhythm gets switched and it takes a little time). If done the "right" way you should eat 2-4 pretty big meals(I kinda eat at random times in the evening) in the evening and preferably in conjunction with a weight-lifting session to maximize muscle-building. Personally I hate thinking about food all the time so this type of eating is a fresh breeze in the world of usually obsessive eating-ways of a bodybuilder. It can be pretty flexible, I feel that I could eat this way the rest of my life(it's probably not the best for adding mass though due to the long time of not eating but there can be ways around that).

Something I've noticed about the hunger on IF(when fasting) is that if I sleep too little or too bad(which I've done for the past decade probably) hunger gets amped up, apparently the body may be secreting
Leptin(the main ruling hormone of bodyweight regulation) lowers because of bad sleeping habits due to constant stress of not getting enough rest.

A knowledgeable dude, trainer of the L.A Lakers among some other stuff. He has an excellent research review(you have to pay to read them though, 10 bucks) where he chooses some scientific studies relevant to bodybuilders and dieters and comments on them and gives his opinion on whether it's a good study or if it sucks ass. I think he reads too much science-studies because the review-paper looks almost exactly like a real full text-study paper(which is pretty boring to look at).

Worth a look, he has some free articles as well on his site(particularly interesting is the overview on Intermittent Fasting-studies). The review-series is probably just for the extreme nerds(like me).

No references, sorry :P. I'm too lazy to look that shit up. I may have gotten some bits of information mixed up(I don't think so though), but if I'm wrong on anything here just leave a comment and I'll check it out and maybe I'll correct the text.

I will add more to this list when I've checked my library of sites I frequently visit.
